SBA Math Interim
The fourth graders will be taking their SBA Math interim next week Tuesday, Wednesday and, if needed, Thursday (2/11-2/13). To help your child do his/her best, please be sure they get a good night's rest, eat breakfast in the morning and come to school on time. Avoid scheduling appointments or trips during this time.
No School (2/10, 2/14, 2/17)
A reminder that there is no school on the following days:
Monday, February 10-Teacher's Institute Day
Friday, February 14-PD Day
Monday, February 17-Presidents' Day
iReady
I am so proud of the students' efforts to meet their Reading and Math iReady goal!
Congratulations to the following students who met both their Reading and Math goals for iReady last week: Tiari, Alexander, Bentley, Elim, Kyra, Tate, Alex, Pookela, Rylan, Kaila, Makayla, Rylee, Peyton, Hunter and Journey. That's DOUBLE the number of students meeting their goals compared to the other week! AWESOME!
The goals for third quarter are as follows:
Makahiki
I hope you will be able to join in on the fun planned for Friday, March 13th. You will be able to participate with your child in a few Hawaiian games and activities. Please turn in the form by Wednesday, February 12th. Remember to mark the form if you plan to take your child home as soon as the activities are done so a student pass can be prepared ahead of time and save you time from signing out your child from the office.
Zippy's
Please support our school by selling or purchasing Zippy's tickets. The information packet was sent home last week. Each ticket costs $9 and you can choose from chili, meat sauce, Portuguese bean soup or pancake mix. The fundraiser will run through February 28, 2020.
Aulani
We are getting closer and closer to the excitement of Aulani! Final payment notices were sent home last week. Many of you have already made the final payment. Thank you! If you have not done so yet, please turn it in by Tuesday, February 18th.
A Health Info sheet will be going home soon as well as the official DOE field trip form. As we get closer to May, further information will be send home that will tell you what your child needs to pack and other preparation information.
Last two fundraisers
To help keep the costs at a minimum for Aulani we have one more Ono Pops sale on Thursday, February 13th. This will also be our CPK fundraiser "night." Please help support the grade level by purchasing ono pops at $3.50 and/or eating CPK on February 13th. Spread the word to family and friends. As long as they show the flyer, our grade level will earn 20%. It can be for dine-in or takeout orders. It is only valid at the Pearlridge location anytime from 10:30am-10:00pm. A copy of the flyer is available in the February parent bulletin online and a hard copy will be sent home soon. Thank you for all your support in our efforts to raise money for the fourth grade.
