M8 Parent Letter
We are beginning module 8 for Math. You may view the parent letters online by clicking on Student Learning --> Math Parent Letters.
Student Portfolios
Student portfolios were sent home last week and are due back on Friday, January 31st. If additional time is needed to view your child's work, please let me know. It is a good opportunity to sit with your child and go through their work together, talking about the progress they are making. The two starts and a wish is for parents to fill out and share with your child. You can leave this in the binder when you are done.
iReady
There is an iReady Diagnostic report that shows the progress your child is making for Reading and Math in your child's student portfolio. If your child's progress bar is colored green, he/she is at or above grade level expectations.
The goals for third quarter are as follows:
P-E-R-F-E-C-T attendance
We are currently on our third letter to spell out PERFECT. Please allow enough time for your child to walk up and be in class before the tardy bell rings at 7:55. Students who walk in after the bell rings are considered late.
