Aloha C1-C Families,
It was so nice to see the students online today! I'll be figuring out another time we can do it again. I have to take a look at the availability you shared with me and will try to set a recurring day/time to meet online. I will do my best to accommodate everyone's schedule as best as possible. I would like to get feedback from the students who participated about their experience today. I posted a Google form on Google Classroom (post #37). If you could ask them to complete it sometime over the weekend, I'd appreciate it.
I don't want to bombard you with another survey to fill out so if you have any feedback for me, please feel free to email me.
You may have already heard the news, but they announced this afternoon that schools will remain closed through the end of the school year and we will continue with distance learning. This news truly saddens me. This particular group was extra special because I remember many of them since Kindergarten. However, the safety and health of everyone is the priority. I appreciate everything you are doing at home to support your child and I know some days are definitely challenging. My hope is that this will end soon and our experiences will make us stronger. Give your keiki an extra big hug tonight and reassure them that this too shall pass.
Have a great weekend!
With much appreciation,
Mrs. Au
