Aloha C1-C Families,
Our first field trip is on Tuesday, September 17th. The field trip reminders that were stapled to your child's planner the other day is attached for your reference.
We would like to leave as soon as possible so please have your child in school before 7:45am to allow them enough time to check in, use the bathroom, and make sure they have everything. We hope to make our way to the front office soon after 8:00 if possible.
Students do not need to bring their school bag or supplies on Tuesday. They do need a small backpack or drawstring bag. If your child does not have one, I asked them to let me know by MONDAY so I can get that ready for them.
To ensure everyone has a safe, enjoyable learning experience, please go over the following with your child:
Enjoy your weekend!

To ensure everyone has a safe, enjoyable learning experience, please go over the following with your child:
- Remain seated in the bus at all times
- Avoid sticking anything out the window
- Water bottles should be kept closed while the bus is in motion
- Listen attentively while Mr. Mahoney, our guide, is speaking (He will be sharing mo'olelo <legends> and other information along the way.)
- Stay together and move together as a class
- Be mindful of others (monitor noise levels, be aware of surroundings)-especially at the Makapu'u overlook
- Maintain a positive attitude
- Pu'u o Kaimuki
- Kuliouou Beach Park
- Halona Blowhole
- Sandy Beach (students will walk on the sand towards the bathrooms and have their snack in the grassy area)
- Makapu'u Overlook
Enjoy your weekend!
